New Delhi: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), through its Management Training Institute (MTI), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (SAIL IIM Jammu MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu to collaborate on executive education programmes aimed at nurturing future-ready leaders.
The MoU was officially signed on September 29, 2025, at SAIL’s Corporate Office, Ispat Bhawan, New Delhi.

This strategic partnership reflects SAIL’s commitment to leadership development, organizational capacity-building, and the adoption of global best practices, reinforcing its role in contributing to nation-building through excellence in leadership.
The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both institutions. The MoU was signed by Sanjay Dhar, Officiating Executive Director (HR-L&D), MTI, SAIL, and Cmdr Kesavan Baskkaran (R), Chief Administrative Officer, IIM Jammu, in the presence of K K Singh, Director (Personnel), SAIL. Also present were B S Popli, Executive Director (HR), SAIL, and Dr Rajesh Sikka, IIM Jammu.
